About the Expo
This year’s Expo will be held on March 4, 2011 at the Alpharetta Marriott on Windward Parkway.
The Expo day begins at 7:30am with a Kick-Off Breakfast sponsored by BB&T. Join us for an overview of the film industry in Georgia and what it means to Georgia and the local economy. Did you know that North Fulton has been designated as a "Camera Ready" community?
The Breakfast Speaker will be Craig Dominey with Georgia Department of Economic Development, Film, Music & Digital Entertainment Division explain how this affects you and your business. The Georgia Film, Music and Digital Entertainment Office develops and promotes the state's feature film, television, commercial, music video, recorded music and digital media industries. They provide an extensive location library to assist production companies both inside and outside Georgia.

After a brief Ribbon Cutting ceremony, the doors will open at 9:30am. This event features over 85 of North Atlanta’s leading companies in the Exhibit Hall and University Seminars throughout the day! This is a full day you won’t want to miss!

Nate brings 10+ years experience in B2B and B2C marketing across a variety of retail and service industries in the Atlanta market and holds an MBA in Marketing from Georgia State University and a BA from Emory University.
Matt Gardner is the co-founder of Yepser Internet Strategy located in Alpharetta, GA. Yepser provides businesses with the opportunity to grow their company through social media strategies, Internet marketing and website development.
Over the past two years, Yepser has successfully managed over 150 social media campaigns and developed over 30 website strategies for their clients.
Matt is orginally from Nashville, TN and graduated from Auburn University. He currently lives in Roswell, GA.

Locally, Andy is the Chairman of the Business and Entrepreneurial Council for the North Fulton Chamber of Commerce. He is preparing to launch a weekly radio program in the spring of 2011 and he is writing a book on how consumers buy in our rapidly changing marketplace.
Bernie Meineke has served as Area Director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Georgia State University in Atlanta, Georgia since 1999 and has worked with the Georgia SBDC Network since 1993.
Bernie received a BBA degree in Finance from the University of Iowa and an MBA from Emory University in Atlanta. At both institutions, he earned academic honors, graduating in the top 10% of his class.
Prior to joining the SBDC, Bernie held a variety of management positions including seven years as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of a small wholesale distribution company. As part of the start-up team, Bernie led efforts in finance, operations, and marketing and gained first-hand experience in operating and financing a rapidly growing small business.
In his work with the SBDC, Bernie has performed consulting work for hundreds of business owners and also shares his experience as a seminar leader in a number of financial programs, including Understanding Financial Statements, Managing Cash Flow and Finding Money for Your Small Business. He received the Georgia SBDC Network's 1999 Consultant of the Year award for excellence in business consulting.
Mr. Davis has more than 25 years of experience in the finance and banking industries. In 1999, Davis joined Bank of North Georgia as Senior Vice President in Corporate Banking with specific responsibility to establish and grow the Bank's presence in Gwinnett County. He was promoted to Team Leader in 2004, to the Manager of the Commercial and Industrial Lending Division in 2005, and to Executive Vice President and Regional Community Executive in 2007. In his current role, Davis is responsible for growing the bank's deposits and loans in North Fulton and DeKalb County, overseeing the operations of the Haynes Bridge/Alpharetta, Crabapple, Dunwoody, Roswell, Sandy Springs and Tucker branches. Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University and recently graduated from the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Active in the community, Davis is currently serving as a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce, Ed Isakson/Alpharetta YMCA, Chattahoochee Nature Center, Historic Roswell Convention and Visitors Bureau and Historic Roswell Folk and Heritage Bureau. In 2007, he served as the Chairperson for the March of Dimes WalkAmerica in North Fulton. He is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett and has served as Co-Chair of the Growth Day Committee.
As a Liquid Capital business owner, Lee Doernberg brings a wealth of financial management experience from Corporate America - an experience base that is now available to small and medium sized company clients in Georgia. From profitability analysis to accounts receivable management, Lee operates in a methodical and analytical manner, delivering a game plan that is results driven and logical.
With a business career that has spanned some 30 years, Lee Doernberg has been exposed to virtually every aspect of finance. Its this kind of fluency that makes him comfortable in any setting - and since everything adds up to bottom line performance, this is a combination of experience and expertise that Liquid Capital clients can rely on.
Timothy Dineen has himself founded, grown, and sold three companies. He has successfully raised more than $25 million in early stage funding to launch client businesses in health care, energy, medical device, chemical, and bio-tech enterprises. He has helped these companies grow and guided them through both acquisition and public offering exits.
Mr. Dineen has been published in books and on CD on capital formation strategies. He has twice won national awards for business plans he has written for clients. He produces investor presentations, elevator letters, and Private Placement Memorandums.
Mr. Dineen has successfully raised capital from both institutional sources and created angel funding groups. Capital has been utilized both at start-up, expansion, and mezzanine stage.
Mr. Dineen has previously worked for two fortune 500 companies in Chicago and New York before embarking on his own business ventures in the 80s. He has led a turn-around of a failed venture-backed start-up and taken it from loss back to positive cash flow and ultimately to the sale of the technology to 3M Corporation. He has relationships with capital funding sources around the country.
